Music Valley is located in the foothills of West Mountain area. The geology of this area is mostly barren lands with infertile thin soil and hardened sand. The stones flushed by flood to this land were everywhere and a 400-meters-long wasted canal was formed by stone mining years ago. Now through years of hard work this land has not only been restructured and restored to it's original ecological environment, but also been transformed to an art centre with facilities such as open-air theatre.
